Themed post- My grandfather

I had 9 years old when my grandfather died, he was and will be one of my favorites persons of my life and despite the fact that we shared a few years, i was lucky to meet him.

He worked on many things, among them he was a builder and he always took a lot of tools, i can say that my love for create and build things in my career is related from the beginning with him.
I think he was an artist like me but in his own way, we both work with our hands and we love what we do.

He inherited from me and my cousins a workshop in his house full of tools and every time i need one i go to the workshop and upon entering a connection between us. Is that one of the reasons because that i choose this career, i feel even closer to him.

This year i kept this pliers and have used it a lot because my main workshop is goldsmithing, i really like this main workshop but wat i like the most is being able to use my grandfather's tools because if i were in main workshop paint or photo i wouldn't use them so much.

I know this post was very sentimental but i like to write about he, it has not been a good days for me and it makes me feel a little hapier to remember him. Thanks for reading and have a good week! :)

  2. Oh Casandra, i love that your grandfather was an inspiration for you, its very lovely! We have to appreciate our grandparents because many people are born without knowing them. My two grandfathers are very different, Enrique is very intellectual but he has not sense of humor, and Eugenio is not the most intellectual person in the world, but he has the best sense of humor. I'm a mix between them, because i am not very smart and i dont have sense of humor hahahaha.

I hope you feel better, Casandra, you have a big heart ;)

  4. Casi, hi!

Your Grandpa seems like a really interesting person. I’m really glad to hear you keep using his tools, it makes me think about the inheritance of the material things and the non-material things, such as the same skills and interests. Anyway, have a good week!

My autobiography.

Hello there, my name is Casandra but you can call me casi, yes, like “casi me caigo” its a clasic when i meet someone new, so im telling you if you want to be more original when we meet us 😁. Im twenty years old and im studying visual arts in Chile’s university. Before to start study visual arts i was studying architecture, was almost two weeks there and i realized that i really didn’t like it because im not a big fan of math, gemoetry or numbers in general. I thouhgt that if i liked work with my hands i could make nice models and it would be good for me and the carrer but finally wasn’t it my passion. Now here i’m, a now im in second year of visual arts and im really happy doing something that likes me. I live in Santiago, La Florida with my parents, brother and my cats. I have five cats, for of them are family and the other was the cat of the neighbor and now its ours because we feed it and operate it and the neighbor doesn’t care. Here is the oldest cat, Cenicienta saying “I a...

Photofgraph and its story

Two years ago i went to Valparaíso with my family and a friend, with my friend we were walking alone throught “Cerro Alegre” looking for a gazebo to sit, smoke and talk while my family walking througt Valparaíso. while we were walking and looking a place to sit, a couple asked us for a lighter and then we started to talk. She was brazilian, so she didn’t fully understand us and her boyfriend was chilean and practiced circus things. They guided us to a very beautifull place and we stayed talking and smoking together on the hill with a  beautifull view to Valparaíso.  When we start to go down Cerro Alegre they asked us to take a picture of them because my friend was walking with her camera and it was a cool moment to remember.  At the end of the day we took the bus together and they got off earlier and said goodbye to us, it was a really good day❤️.
